The awesome Glasgow Studytrip

Sic as ye gie, sic wull ye get.

The lucky ones who decided to join us on this epic adventure will surely not regret it. The 30th of April, the day that we will pack our baffies and breeks and travel to the land of Whiskey, bagpipes, kilts, and dreich. We will daunder through the lands afore walked upon by great heroes, such as William Wallace and Robert de Bruce during their great struggle for independence. But do not be a’feard we will soon follow into their footsteps and discover this majestic landscape on our own.

The 40 students enrolled for this great adventure will have a couthie time and blether about it for a long time afterwards. Forbye enjoying the lovely Scottish weather our travel committee has several braw activities in store for you. Whether you wanted to go to Scotland to climb its mountains, or to enjoy the great cities, or maybe just to get wasted in the pubs and darter around in kilts. We have something good in store for everyone. Our travel committee will make sure that you will make the most of your time there. Some examples of our activities are:

-          A hike through the beautiful landscape

-          A pub crawl, we will show those weird kilt wearers what REAL drinking is

-          A bag piping course, learn to play bag pipe

-          A trip to Edinburgh, admire its great architecture

-          A Glasgow tour

-          And much more

The goal of this great journey is to learn something about Scottish Culture and in what way it is in dialogue with the English one. We will by means of visiting several museums and historic significant monuments discover in what way the Scottish culture is influenced by the English one and whether this is also the case the other way around.
