The gala committee usually organises one or two balls a year. Last year, we had the annual (Christmas) “ Letteren gala” and also the Lustre ball to celebrate G.A.G.’s 30th anniversary which included a speech by teachers of our English department and a formal dinner followed by a ball.

This year we will organise the annual “Letteren gala” in cooperation with other student associations from the Faculty of Arts. This event attracts a lot of students and is considered one of the biggest festivities of the whole year!

As a member of the gala committee, you learn to set up a big event which includes finding a suitable location, arranging the music, ticket sales etc. You also learn how to work together with fellow students from other associations. It’s jolly good fun!
